All Biography products - My Life Story, The CEO Biography and The Company Bio - are created in three stages: research, location shooting and editing. The whole project takes an average of five to seven weeks to complete—yet just a few hours of your time. We meet with you to collect some preliminary information, confirm the scope of the project and discuss the people and material necessary to tell your story.

You don’t need to do anything but talk. It helps to know dates, names and spellings, of course, as well as contact information for the individuals we agree should be included. At the end of our first meeting, we’ll leave with you a list of pre-interview questions to help stimulate your memory for our first video recording session.

We shoot your on-camera interview in the comfort of your home, office or almost anywhere you choose. Our recording equipment is the latest in professional audio, video and lighting technology and will deliver an image comparable to those seen on network television interview shows like 60 Minutes, A&E Biography and Lifetime’s “Intimate Portrait”. Your interview may last two hours and we might want a second interview to help clarify or elaborate on certain subjects. Shooting interviews with your spouse, children, work, church or community associates will be under one hour each. We will digitally copy any and all photographs, artifacts and memorabilia in your home—they never leave your possession. These may include photo albums, framed photographs, scrapbooks, trophies, awards, certificates, souvenirs, newspaper clippings and the like.

Editing is the longest and most difficult stage as we screen through hours of recorded interviews, piecing together the clips and segments in a way that best tells your story in a clear, concise and interesting manner. We blend motion and still images, fully licensed music, custom graphics and sound to create a family heirloom for the 21st century. The final product is submitted for your approval and you have the option to have us remove or change anything you choose. This IS your story, after all—and the storytellers do have privileges! Once approved, copies can be made on DVD, VHS tape or formatted for a family or company website, if you so desire. The high quality masters will allow easy transfer to High Definition DVD, as that format establishes itself in the coming months.
